Although it rained and was cooler than we thought, we were still able to kayak, have a campfire, find some elk, social distance, and take several hikes. All in all, a good weekend.

1st time camping since Covid-19
Since the lockdown in March, Campground’s haven’t been open. Sixty days later, state parks got the OK to reopen. We quickly made a reservation at Parker Dam with Bonnie and Carl Pillar.
Zooming, FaceTiming and FaceBook Live
Thank heavens for technology! Staying connected is so important during this Stay At Home time. We were able to get together with the California kids and Boston Jutta and and Mario, and the Julian crew via Zoom. We talked and laughed for over 2 hrs.-I needed that!!
Another use of Zoom is a virtual lunch with friends. Lots to catch up on.
Church services are also delivered on Zoom. Even though we’re back in PA, we can listen and watch The Table church service in Sacramento, CA!
Linda Zubler and I have gotten together to quilt on Wednesdays for years. We plan and work on projects together. Since Covid10 came to town, we haven’t been able to get together face to face BUT we weren’t going to let that stop our time together. So we use FaceTime to plan and quilt together.
So far, we have 3 projects completed.
We are now working Quilt of Valor projects.
As our time at home increased, my exercise group decided to exercise using Zoom. Not sure whether we are socializing or exercising but it’s fun.

Every Saturday night, we are so grateful to Kelly Countermine and Mark Hill of Biscuit Ham. They give us something to look forward to ... FaceBbook Live concert. Since we can’t listen to Biscuit Jam at Happy Valley Winery, this is the next best thing.

Corona Virus (Covid-19) might be around for a long time but we won’t let it stop us connecting.
