Leaving Sacramento and Nevada City for South Lake Tahoe

A lot of projects finished and it’s a good thing since we needed to move on to Our camping and backpack trip to Lake Tahoe. 

Not a very long trip but the windy, twisty road up the mountain took us about 3 hours. It was so worth it. Beautiful drive.the lake is so blue.

We got set up and had 2 days before the kids would get here. Lots of hiking around the campground. 

Thursday Bill decided he wanted to go fishing so he found out where to go and off we went. So peaceful. Lenny, Banjo and I hiked a little and rested a little. 

No, we didn’t have fish for dinner but we all had fun.

Better get rested up. The kids come tomorrow.
