With temps in the high 50s, we dropped Arlo at Gigi’s (his daycare place) and left to do errands.
What a treat to be able to eat out side in the bright sunshine.

In the evening, we all watched Arthur a Christmas movie.

Shan and Carl’s new house is a great place to see sunrises. Starts the day off just right.

Arlo is at a fun age. Talks all the time (and I can understand most of it) and smiles a lot. We had fun playing in his playroom and decorating his “felt” tree I got him last year.

Then it was time for our annual tradition to search for the perfect tree. Carl drives us up in the mountains and the search begins.
Shan really did find the perfect tree this year, but it did take a little climbing up a snowy bank.

Fun time decorating Arlo’s tree.

A morning walk along the American River to hopefully see the sea lions. We also saw lots of evidence of beavers.

Finally we spotted several sea lion.
A successful but chilly walk.
For the afternoon, we went to the B Street Theater to see Dog Mom. A comedy with tears and champagne at the end.

Time to meet Shan and Arlo for my time in Nevada City. Drew and Erin handed me off at Moonraker Brewery.
