January 26 and 27 - After the storm

On Monday, Bill wanted Darren to experience shoveling snow.

My garden cardinal was having a hard time swinging her tail through the snow

After the shoveling experience, we took Darren on a ride to show him the snow around State College.

Always a favorite is the Lion Shrine  on the way home, we saw a car in the ditch on Bernel Road.  Luckily, there were people already there to help but we had to turn around and go a different way to get home

Tuesday morning brought bright sunshine with temps in the single digits. Early morning sunrise.

Snowmageddon - January 25

The meteorologists have been talking about this snowstorm for days. It finally happened. Started early Sunday morning and continued all day.

I attempted to keep the sidewalk clear so I could take the dogs out. Lost count of how many times I went out.

Bill was on the plow for 3 hours trying to push about 12-14 inches of snow with his little tractor.

He was so cold when he came in. A shower, some tea and butternut chili helped him warm up.

Winter's 28th birthday

For Winter's 28 birthday, she wanted to eat at Robinhood Brewery and then bowl.

Back in PA

Once I got back in PA, here are some pictures of our December.

First was my aquasize class luncheon at Hublersburg Inn

Kristen, Gale, Linda and I went on a train ride at Victorian Christmas in Bellefonte

Morning sunrise got Gale and I off to a good start for our Christmas cookie baking. Lots of laughs  we usually have at least 1 failure 😩

Kristen and Pixie and Winter came to help make the traditional iced sugar cookies

A picture of Winter welding at her job.

Arlo FaceTimed me while he was making cookies.  He’s also the taste tester

We were able to find a date to Christmas Carol around the Valley. Always a favorite time for me.

Christmas with the Greshes at Kya and Mason’s house.

Christmas morning with Andrea, Jillian and Nathan.

Bill and I were able to spend some time at Happy Valley Winery and 814 Cidery with friends and family.

A very special way to ring in the New Year with Kelly, Mark, Molly and Renee and Terry at the Winery.

We were able to spend time with Kya at several dog shows.

Arlo loves the snow.
