Here are some pics around Lewes, Delaware.
The terrain is sandy and lots of dunes.
It’s so flat we could bike very easily on trails and bike paths. It’s so bike friendly. One night we biked to Rehoboth which was about 13 miles round trip.
Lewes was first established as a colony in 1631. It was the first European colony in Delaware.
This is the museum but unfortunately it wasn’t open yet. Lewes was just beginning to reopen after the lockdown.
This was a fun, new experience. This is the point where horseshoe crabs mate. Here’s a video in case you’re interested.
On one of our trips into Lewes, we picked up new shift cables for Bonnie’s bike. Bill and Carl got her moving again.
The strawberry moon. It was gorgeous.
Another bike trip into Lewes for dinner at the Wheelhouse Restaurant.
