Since Drew and Erin moved to Chicago in 2016, I have been spending Thanksgiving with them. Then they moved to California and so did Shan and Carl. l’m continuing the tradition this year.
The flights were good, very little waiting and no turbulence. Plus, Drew upgraded my flight to 1st class out of State College. BONUS. Had so much leg room, I had to unbuckle my seatbelt to reach my backpack!
Look at this … real coffee mug and glass. Gonna be hard to go back to economy class!

Landed safely in Sacramento at noon and Drew picked me up.
Shannon, Carl and Arlo drove down to Sac for our together meal. Great to have the Cali kids in one place. Erin and Drew made duck cassoulet which was delicious. Carl made cheesecake which was also a treat.
Arlo is at a fun stage. He and I read books and played with his monster trucks. Then Drew read a book. Arlo is very intent as you read.
Tomorrow we are going to see Wicked Good and Plant Bingo. Excited for both.
