Before we left for Sacramento, we watched Arlo while Shan went for a run with her friend Erica. Pappy and Arlo made pancakes and then we played in his playroom for a little bit before Arlo just laid down and fell asleep.
Then it was time to drive down the hill to Sacramento to spend 5 days with Drew and Erin. We stay at Cal Exp Campground which is about 10 minutes from their house.
We met them in Old Sacramento at the newly opened Birr Garten, a Belgian Brewery.
We played a new game called XX
Then back to their house for dinner and s’mores at the FPZ (fire pit zone). They brought chocolate bars home from South Africa so we had them in our s’mores … really tasty.
Can you see the star shaped marshmallows Erin bought. They were extra gooey.
