May 1 - McKinley Rose Garden and lazy day

May Day it was apropos to visit the McKinley Park Rose Garden with Erin and Winnie. What a treat for me to see all the different colors and varieties. Here are just a few of the vibrant colors. Some had a fragrance, too. 





















While I was there, I thought how much Jean Stauffer loves roses so I FaceTime Timed her. We had such a nice chat as I walked around showing her the Beaty I was seeing. 

Then back to the RV for some errands. We had a lazy day, probably trying to get ready for our time with Arlo!!  Haha. Here’s a very short but very cute video of Arlo playing boo.

    That really was special Facetiming while you were there! Oh my goodness! These pictures are just gorgeous! I'm especially partial to the two-tone ones. So far we're not having bugs eating the leaves on our rose bushes. Dick sprayed Sevin on them proactively. But there might be a bush or two that did not survive the winter.
