We stopped at Denali Viewpoint South to get a lot of our photos plus a hike on one of the trails. From this viewpoint, Denali is 41 miles away and and over 20,000 feet high.
The aspen’s leaves have changed and were so vivid against the dark green pine trees.
In the Park, we saw 2 moose and a herd of Dall sheep but unfortunately they were too far away for our cameras.

On the way out of the park, we stopped at Savage River checkpoint to hike a little. The River was moving fast.
