April 21 - Hike at Empire Mine and Arlo time

We got our 10,000 steps in on the trails at Empire Mine State Park. Great place to hike among the tall pines and cedars. 

This was a stone foundation that was used in the mining process at some point. 

Manzanitas we’re blooming. I love the color of their wood, a dark purply-red color. 


After the 5 mile hike, we headed over to Shan and Carl’s to see Charlotte and Terry, Balan and Lark, and of course, Arlo. 

Balan is more interested in Banjo than Arlo. 😜

Lenny decided he needed to sit on Charlotte’s lap. Lark is holding Arlo. 

Arlo decided it was time to eat again.
