Also volunteered at the Information Tent. Not too much traffic yet BUT I was volunteering with a ukulele player and she just happened to have a ukulele with her. So she taught me 3 chords, C, F, and G. She’s going to be teaching a workshop for newbies tonight. I’m going to try to go.
Then I went to visit Arlo for a couple hours. He’s still not feeling good but a 2 hour nap should help.
Back to the festival for the Ukulele workshop. I need a lot of practice for sure but it is stretching my brain. Good friend, Jean Stauffer told me I should try an instrument. Hope she smiles at this 😁
The evening program had the Tray Wellington Band and the Gongbang Band from South Korea. They won an award from a foundation to tour the US. Very broken English when they talk but beautiful music and harmony.

ReplyDeleteYES!! As I said before, you can play lots of songs with just C, F, and G chords. A few years ago I was trying to learn to play Bianca's ukelele. Her favorite songs at that time were from the movie Trolls. So I was trying to learn Simon and Garfunkel's "Sound of Silence." I don't remember what chords that song had.
