June 17 - Hike at Wright’s Lake

Shannon and Carl gave us another great adventure. Carl had a reservation with a climbing guide to climb Lover’s Leap. While Carl did that, Shannon, Arlo, Bill, and I went for a hike, partly around Wright’s Lake and then up and over some rocky ground. Great weather for a beautiful hike. 

Before we took off for our hike, we had some breakfast at the Strawberry General Store. 

On the way to the hike, we passed where the fire had been that almost took out a lot of houses. Calfiremen saved the houses.

This is how Arlo hikes

Bandit with a stick. Makes him look like a deer. 

Arlo is at that fun age where Nana Peg can be a bad influence. 

Stopped at the new Moonraker Brewery on the way home. Good food and beer. Huge outdoor space. 

Lenny was pooped from the hike.
