June 21 - Adventure Hike Lakes Basin

Today’s LONG adventure was at Lakes Basin. We hiked about 6 miles but it felt like at least 12!  The walk started out on an easy grade, then we had to walk up and down over granite rocks. But there were beautiful lakes and vistas all along the hike. 

A much needed stop to recharge. Unfortunately for me, I could have used a whole day to fully recharge!!

But I did forget to mention there were several snow packs that we had to cross and small creeks. 

Once back at camp, we had a delicious meal of chicken burgers. I had not had those before but really liked them.
