May 4 - Rainy and cold

Today was rainy most of the day. No one wanted to go out. Made a pot of chili and cornbread to take to Shan and Carl’s. The rain didn’t stop Carl. He went on a run with Terry but the rest of us just stayed in and talked to Arlo. He had his lumberjack suit on today. Its soft fleece and cozy, just right for a nap. 

John sent pictures of the tulips at our place. He said it’s been raining there for 7 days. 

The yellow and red tulips are the ones Linda and I brought back from Holland. 

Drew, Bill and I made plans to travel to Idaho and Yellowstone in the middle of June. We were going to stop at Lassen National Park on the way north but they have had so much snow that were they aren’t even opening until June so we’re going to catch that on the way back.
