Carl made dinner, beer can chicken, so moist and flavorful.
That meant we got to see Arlo for awhile.
Pappy Shuff’s baby skills are coming back to him.
May 6 - Pine Tree Quilt Guild held their yearly quilt show. They had 250 quilts, all sizes, styles and colors. Here are just a few of my favorites.
This was a tribute to the fire people who worked so very hard this past fall.
Loved this one because it’s a New York Beauty pattern. Linda Zubler and I took a class from Cynthia at Stitch Your Art Out and since then I’ve been in love with them.
This is a bargello. Has so much movement and is one of my go to patterns when I quilt.
Tribute Trail is one of the trails we like to hike in Nevada City.
This one took my eye because it’s so out of my comfort zone but I really liked the colors and the random sized piecing.
It takes a village … yep it sure does.
A few pics of Arlo.
Carl’s sister Angela gave this stuffed doll so Shan could take pictures next to it to see how much he grows.
May 7 we visited Drew and Erin for a bit before they leave for a wedding. Bill needs to finish putting spouting on their new porch but unfortunately Lowes sent the wing pieces so it’s not going to be finished today.
Drew and Erin have the most beautiful blooming roses in the front of their house. Drew says he does very little maintenance and they just keep blooming.
Today is Shan and Carl’s 12th anniversary. Here’s how they celebrated: takeout, champagne and Arlo. What could be more wonderful.
