Kansas into Colorado

The landscape changed as we got further into Colorado and off the plains. We could see mountains in the distance. 

We took Route 50 which winds up and down along the Arkansas River. Scenic drive but slow. 

Finally pulled in to the Shavano Wildlife Management BLM land,  boondocking, and had 360 views of the Sangre De Cristo mountain range. 

Yes, it’s cold up here but a beautiful spot to park for the night.
