North Rim of the Grand Canyon

We made it to the North Rim and found a boondocking site on Forest Road 611 but it doesn’t have the view of the Canyon. Those were already taken, unfortunately. We are nestled among the gorgeous golden aspens, Ponderosa Pines, and spruces .

After set up, we headed to the North Rim Visitor’s Center and walked around the rim some.

Even though I’ve seen the south rim, the North Rim is even more breathtaking. You can see down in to the bottom from the Bright Angel Point. Pictures sure don’t capture the breadth and depth and the spectacular colors of the rocks.

Back to the RV for dinner and early bed so we can rise early to see the sunrise.
