A trip to see the red rocks of Sedona - Sunday

Since Bill and Lew are still backpacking in the Canyon, the boys and I decided to take a drive down to Sedona to see the red rocks.

We drove down Oak Creek Canyon, a beautiful, scenic drive. It’s very twisty and windy as you follow the canyon south to Sedona. Don’t expect to go fast!

Then comes the red rocks of Sedona. We hiked the Devil’s bridge trail about 4 miles. These are the views we had. Weather was great, 70 degrees with a little breeze. Banjo still tried to find the shady spots, although there weren’t many.

After the hike, we took a drive on the Red Rock Loop. Along with the red rocks, I saw this flamingo. Loved it. Wouldn’t that be a great way to tell people where you live!

Back to the RV for the night.
