Checking things out around the Grand Canyon area

We left the North Rim and our boondocking spot and headed to the South Rim. We are staying in the Grand Canyon Camper Village campground for a week. The campground is about 6 miles from the South Rim. We aren’t nestled among the pines and aspens this time but we have full hook-ups.

We passed Vermilion Cliffs on the way

Crossed the Colorado as we headed South.

Love the red rocks. And no, Bill isn’t cold. That’s where Lenny likes to ride.

As we were coming into the park, we stopped for this view of the Canyon.

We walked the Rim for a bit to capture these photos.

It wasn’t very sunny but we did get a little sunset at Mather’s Point. Hope to get a better one soon.

That’s it for our 1st day.
